Mar. 03, 1957 - Jamestown Festival Visitor Finds Queen Elizabeth I Had Tiny Feet. The British Government has installed a 140, 000 exhibit in the Old World Pavilion of the Jamestown Festival, Virginia, opening next Monday, April 1, to celebrate the 350th anniversary of the first permnent English settlement in America. The exhibit, in three sections in an area of 6, 500 square feet, tells the story of the events that led to Britaiin's influence on colony life and culture, and, following the American Revolution, the growth of other colonies to independence and nationhood within the British Commonwealth.
