Feb. 29 Silk for the Coronation Robes. Women picking mulberry leaves in one of the small plantations at Lullingstone, to satisfy the enormous appetites of the silkworms. The small seedlings seen on each side of the wicker basket are Osigian mulberry bushes and the cuttings were planted shortly before this picture was taken. Their growth is very rapid
