Women Against Rape rally, Trafalgar Square, London

Jul. 07, 1977 - Women Against Rape Rally In Trafalgar Square. Hundreds of Women marched to Trafalgar Square on Saturday, many of them rape victims, to stage a mock trial of those they say have failed to protect them. Among the marchers was 18 year old Carol Maggs, a recent victim of rape by Guardsman Tom Holdsworth who was released from gaol just three months after being convicted of rape. Carol Maggs spent four months in Hospital recovering.
