Aug. 08, 1952 - Egypt leading suffragette attends the International Council for Women 8.9.52 Egypt leading suffragette, Mrs. Doria Shafik, attended today opening of the International Council for Women at Reading University. Mrs. Shafik, 34-year old wife of a successful Cairo lawyer, founded the Daughters of the Nile three years ago to campaign for the women vote.
