Jan. 09 Leader of Egypt fighting feminists addresses Conference of International Alliance of Women Madame Doria Shafik, the 35-year old beauty, who is leader of Egypt fighting feminists, has arrived in London. She recently won a promise from the Egyptian Government that the status of her fellow countrymen would be revised following her eight-day hunger strike. Madame Shafik, a doctor of philosophy and wife of a Cairo lawyer, is admired by women throughout the world for her fearless fight for equality.
