Dec. 12, 1967 - The World's First electronic Horse Race. The World's First electronic Horse Race staged by a London Evening paper, took place at the University of London today. The race for the Massey-Ferguson Gold Cup, cancelled because of foot and mouth disease, was run by computer. The race was seen by millions of BBC television viewers.
