Wounded woman at Marlborough House, London
Jun. 06, 1950 - Queen Mary's Home Raided. Housekeeper Stabbed In Bedroom And Friend Attacked. For more than five hours, police threw a cordon round Marlborough House while a search was made for a man who attacked two members of the Queen Mary's staff, stabbing one of them. The wounded woman is elderly Mrs. Knight, Queen Mary's housekeeper. A man was later found in the basement of the House - and taken to Cannon Row Police Station.
