Oct. 10, 1968 - Mr Wyn Norris succeeds Sir Malcolm Sargent as conductor of the Royal Choral Society: A press conference was held this morning at the arts council offices, Piccadilly, where Lord Brunt's field introduced Mr Wyn Norris, the 39 year old welsh conductor who has recently been appointed to succeed the late sir Malcolm Sargent, as the new conductor of the Royal Choral Society and also to see the new gown that has been designed by Alan Sievewright for the choral Society. photo shows Model Jane Pearce on the steps of the Arts Council in Piccadilly wearing the dress designed for the Ladies Choral Society and Mr Wyn Morris, who is the leader of the Royal Choral Society
