Yasser Arafat
Jul 11, 1975; Palestine, Israel; Mohammed Yasser Abdul-Ra'ouf Qudwa Al-Husseini, more commonly known as YASSER ARAFAT was born August 24, 1929, in the Gaza Strip. In 1958, he left Egypt to Kuwait where he worked as an engineer and met with Abu Jihad. In Kuwait, he discussed the idea of establishing Fatah the Palestinian National Liberation Movement. He then returned to Palestine and met with a group of Palestinian activists and founded Fatah Movement on January 1, 1965
