Yehudi Menuhin, violinist, in scene from film
Dec. 12, 1960 - A whole symphony orchestra and a famous soloist (Yehudi Menuhin) are got together by Sabine Sinjen in the film Sabine and the 100 men, so as to help her father get back his self-confidence as success had left him as a conductor. Of course, the concert they hold is big success, and the career of the conductor begins anew. At the end, the secret manager Sabine has to appear on the stage, thanking for the applause. The film is directed by William Thiele, the famous soloist is played by the real famous soloist Yehudi Menuhin (left) Sabine Sinjen, the German actress, plays manager Sabine (centre) and her father is played by Dieter Borsche (right)
