Feb. 02, 1953 - Yemen delegation visits German earth-oil district: The Yemen delegation staying at present in Germany also visited the seismographic survey field in the Imeneburger Heide where they want to look for earth-oil layer by means of sound-waves. Photo shows the Viceroy and Prime Minister of Yemen, Prince Seif Islam al Hassan showing his interest in a churn-drill which is drilling blast-holes. The prince informed himself thoroughly about the method of sound-surveying in order to know whether these technical geological possibilities might be used in his country. He intends to invite German drilling experts to Yemen to open there the earth-oil districts
