Nov. 02, 1971 - Bomb Check at the commons: A massive security operation was launched to protect the Queen at today's opening of Parliament. The entire group of building were checked more thoroughly than in 1605 when Guy Fawkes was discovered trying to blow up the Parliament of James the 1st.
