Mar. 31 Boy And Bird; Like Father like Son. Simon, 4 year old son of Allen Oswald, falconer at Chilham Castle, Kent, home of Lord Massereene and Ferrard, is following in his father's footsteps. He has taken over the care and training of the five-week-old kestrel, sent to Oswald from Scotland after being rescued from the nest where its parent birds were found shot. The boy wears a protective glove and handles the bird like a veteran as he begins its training
