Three young Britons expelled from Soviet Russia

Jun. 06, 1968 - Russia Expels Young Britons In Freedom Protest: Russia today quietly but firmly told three young British Leftists to go home. The authorities labelled as improper activity the Britons Moscow demonstration in which they distributed leaflets protesting against Soviet repressions of freedom. They were released and ordered home less than twenty-four hours after Russian secret police had seized them. A British official in Moscow said they were very lucky to be set free.
