Feb. 26 Britain's Youngest Scout Wins His First Award - At Two. David Smyth, Britain's youngest Scout, has won his first award at the age of Two. He has been presented with a special pennant to mark the fact that he has spent more than 20 nights camping out in a year. David's father, 20-year-old Peter Smyth, assistant leader of the 5th. Hendon Scout troop, took part in the camps too. His mother, Mrs. Margaret Smyth is a Guide leader. David, who wears his own special uniform will remain an honorary weekend and holiday scout until he is old enough to join the Cubs.
