Jul. 15, 1954 - Animals Leave For American Zoos: Animals destined for the Chicago and Washington Zoos, were loaded aboard the Andria at King George V Dock this morning. Mr. Ref Bloom, of Walton-on-Naze, the hunter who captured the animals in East Africa will accompany them to the United States, His wife, who was in East Africa when the animals were captured, will not be going.
