1961 - The trial of Adolf Eichmann continues in Jerusalem: Seventy four year old Zindel Grynspan father of 17 year old Herschel Grynspan, giving evidence during the trial of Adolf Eichmann in Jerusalem, tells how he and his family were herded to Poland in October 1938. (Herschel Grynspan shot German Embassy Official Ernst Von Rath in Paris on 7 November 1939 which evoked Hitler's wrath to instigating Kristallnacht when millions of windows of Jewish habitations were smashed and an official anti Jewish programme ensued
