Blitz in London -- the funerals of auxiliary firefighters (AFS) who were killed on duty whilst serving during WW2. The names of the 300 plus men and women in the London Region who had lost their lives would be placed on a War Memorial at Brigade Headquarters, Lambeth, in the 1960s as a permanent reminder of their sacrifice
