Incident at East Surrey Grove, SE London, 7 May 1955. Showing a fire engine (pump) on the pavement and front gardens of two private houses, after taking a sharp right and left turn and apparently coming off the road on its way to a fire. No other vehicles were involved, apart from a parked motorcycle and sidecar. The owner was working on the motorcycle at the time, but was able to jump clear and avoid injury
