LCC-LFB emergency dam unit and trailer pump, WW2
Emergency water supplies were vital to supplementing the available mains supply for fighting the vast swathe of fires that swept parts of London during the Blitz. These Dam Units carried a 5000 gallon collapsible dam which could be erected and filled with water in strategic locations from water supplies that might have been laid for considerable distances
