LCC-LFB engines and crews, Shoreditch fire station
Located at 140 Tabernacle Street, City of London EC2, Shoreditch fire station was built in 1896 for the Metropolitan Fire Brigade.. The widespread introduction of motorised fire engines saw a reduction in the number of fire stations required. Shoreditch remains operational today, in a new station built in 1964
