LCC-LFB Shoreditch fire station, Hackney

Built in 1895, station B27, Shoreditch fire station, was located at 140 Tabernacle Street, near Old Street. The station's pump and pump escape are seen here on the station forecourt -- it is evident that the older style of architecture cannot accommodate the larger sized modern fire engine
