LFB trailer pump competition at Brigade HQ, Lambeth, WW2

Two trailer pump crews engaged in a competition in the headquarters drill yard. The trailer pump had to be set into the water in the emergency inflatable dams. Water was then lifted from the dams and jets got to work, knocking down targets in the drill yard. Then all the equipment had to be put away and the fire crew and trailer pump raced over the finish line. The fastest time wins the competition
