A Shand Mason horse-drawn manual pump, with crew from Red Cross Street fire station in traditional costume, taking part in the 1932 Lord Mayor's Show, City of London. The engine dates back to 1890, the pump being operated from both sides by extending bars; this type of appliance was last used in 1899
