Special service in action, Carlton Club, Pall Mall, London
Special service in action at a building site on the premises of the Carlton Club in Pall Mall, Central London, 12 August 1955. Brigade personnel are attending an injured workman who has been placed on a stretcher by ambulance personnel. They are applying a chair knot to the stretcher, and will go on to further secure the man by means of belts before he is lifted off the site
