Study for a Stained Glass Window, late 16th-early 17th century, Pen and black ink and gray wash; framing lines in brown ink, Overall: 7 5/16 x 5 13/16 in. (18.5 x 14.8 cm), Christoph Murer (Swiss, Zurich 1558-1614 Winterthur), The drawing shows Hercules standing at the center choosing between Virtue and Vice, who are shown personified on either side. In the background, small figures are shown heading towards Heaven (behind Virtue) and Hell (behind Vice)
