British Legion Women's Section leaders taking part in the Battlefields Pilgrimage -- Lady Edward Spencer Churchill OBE, Chairman of the Women's Section, and Dame Florence Simpson DBE, Ex-Controller-in-Chief QMAAC and Head of the ex-Service Women. The pilgrimage of 11, 000 people to France and Flanders was organised by the British Legion and attended by the Prince of Wales. Over 3, 000 women took part in the pilgrimage
