Mrs C. S. Peel, 1917
Dorothy Constance Peel, 1868-1934, aka Mrs CS Peel, prolific journalist and writer of numerous books on household management and domestic history. She wrote the weekly column, La Menage on cooking and gave advice on economising during the First World War. She was appointed a co-director of the women's service in the Ministry of Food during this period along with Mrs Pember Reeves
