The auditorium and Convention Hall, later known as the Boardwalk Hall, at Atlantic City, New Jersey circa 1947. Originally envisioned as a health resort, Atlantic City became popular with tourists and was known as "The World's Playground", with Convention Hall housing the annual Miss America Pageant
