Decorative late Victorian papier mache bowl
Decorative papier mache shallow bowl from Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897 featuring Queen Victoria and her extended family. Made by Raphael Tuck and Sons, London. Raphael Tuck were makers of postcards and Christmas cards and were granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment by Queen Victoria. Tuck cards thereafter bore the message, "Art Publishers to Her Majesty the Queen". Future sovereigns continued the warrant of appointment
