Decorative late Victorian papier mache bowl - reverse
Reverse of a decorative papier mache shallow bowl from Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897 featuring Queen Victoria and her extended family with a useful key to each person. Made by Raphael Tuck and Sons, London. Raphael Tuck were makers of postcards and Christmas cards and were granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment by Queen Victoria. Tuck cards thereafter bore the message, "Art Publishers to Her Majesty the Queen". Future sovereigns continued the warrant of appointment
