Filoscope flicker book
Filoscope flicker book. A flip book or flick book is a book with a series of pictures or photograph that vary gradually from one page to the next, so that when the pages are turned rapidly, the pictures appear to animate by simulating motion or some other change. In 1897, the English filmmaker Henry William Short marketed his "Filoscope", which was a flip book placed in a metal holder to facilitate flipping
