Grimwade's Patent Safety Milk Bowl - base
China Grimwade's Patent Safety Milk Bowl, made by Grimwade of England, circa 1900. It is a large lipped bowl with a grip handle and turned inward rim, and was produced as part of Grimwade's Household Hygienic Wares Range. Its unique design claimed that liquid wouldn't slop over, poured easily, prevented flies walking into the bowl and hangs up when not in use. Advertised as A desideratum in every household
