Phenix Emulsifier - drug mixer
Phenix Emulsifier made by Whitall-Tatum and Co. circa 1890. The hand-turned mixer was used to emulsify solid drugs. It came complete with porcelain tub, galvanized beaters, cast iron base, metal handle, crank, gear, and tin lid. Sold by Whitall-Tatum Co and made by the J.H. Day Company
