Eugen Sandow's Patent Spring Grip Dumb-bells produced by Sandow's Grip Dumb Bell Company of Holborn, London, Circa 1900. Each weight weighed 1150 grams. Eugen Sandow (April 2, 1867 - October 14, 1925), born Friederich Wilhelm Muller, was a pioneering bodybuilder of the Victorian era and is often referred to as the "Father of Modern Bodybuilding"
