Second in the great International Pedestrian Six Days Contest with O'Leary, Rowell and Harriman for the Astley Champion Belt, at Giltmore's Garden, New York, March 10th to 15th 1879. Covering 475 miles and 300 yards in 5 days 21 hours 3 minutes and 49 seconds
