Abie's Irish Rose by Anne Nichols - The Jewish and Irish fathers do not like their children marrying out. Rosemary, the Irish girl, is seen here with Solomon, the Jewish father. First produced in England at the Prince's Theatre, Manchester, March 1927 and at the Apollo Theatre, London, April 1927. The play ran for more than 2, 300 performances on Broadway.
