Abie's Irish Rose by Anne Nichols
Abie, the Jewish boy, is shown with his "Irish Rose" and the baby which reconciles the two fathers to the marriage - in Abie's Irish Rose by Anne Nichols. First produced in England at the Prince's Theatre, Manchester, March 1927 and at the Apollo Theatre, London, April 1927. The play ran for more than 2, 300 performances on Broadway.
