Anna Karenina, a play by John Pollock based on the novel by Tolstoy. First produced at the Ambassador's Theatre, London, December 1913. Flyer for the Scala Theatre, London, to which the play was transferred in April 1914. It starred Lydia Yavorska (also known as Princess Bariatinsky - John Pollock was her second husband). The reverse of the flyer, with admiring quotations from H G Wells and The Evening Standard
