The Attack by George Egerton, from L'Assaut by Henri Bernstein (1912). First produced at St James's Theatre, London, January 1914, touring to the Spa Theatre, Whitby, September 1914. George Egerton was the pen name of Chavelita Dunne. She had become famous in the 1890s for her short story collection Keynotes and her contributions to The Yellow Book
