A Butterfly on the Wheel by Edward G. Hammond and Francis Nelson. First produced at the Globe Theatre on 18th April 1911. With arrangement by Charles Frohman and starring Lewis Waller (3 November 1860 - 1 November 1915). The title and image of course refer metaphorically to the ordeal of the leading female character. Touring to Opera House, Buxton on 23rd February 1914
