Casanova adapted by Harry Graham from the original by Rudolph Schanzer and Ernst Welisch, with music by Johann Strauss and arrangers Ralph Benatzky and Hans Mueller. First produced at the London Coliseum on 24th May 1932. The show ends with a spectacular staging of the Venice carnival. The postcard shows close ups of the four leading stars in their full make up and wigs. Clockwise from top left, Dorothy Dickson as Princess Potomska, Arthur Fear as Casanova, Marie Lohr as the Empress of Austria and Jack Barty as Colonel Waldstein.
