Charley's Aunt by Brandon Thomas. First produced in Bury St. Edmunds, on 29th February 1892 and then at the Royalty Theatre on 21st December 1892. This farce has stayed in the professional repertoire ever since it was written. It has inspired many fine and witty posters. This one is captioned "Flying Now But Still Running". The crowd gazes amazed at the aunt perched on an early aeroplane. Flyer for the revival at the Little Theatre on 26th December 1912, touring to the Kennington Theatre on 19th May 1913
