The Count of Luxembourg adapted by Basil Hood. The staircase is in Grand Duke Rutzinov's reception hall. (Act II). Naturally, Adele and the impoverished Count fall in love, and eventually realise that they are already married. See "Dear Love" for another example of this silly plotline.
