The Dancing Mistress by James Tanner, music Lionel Monckton

The Dancing Mistress by James T. Tanner, with music by Lionel Monckton. The woman is recognisable as Gertie Millar (21 February 1879 - 25 April 1952) as shown in a photo in "The Play Pictorial", Vol. XXI, No. 125, p. 43. She played the eponymous dance teacher at a ladies finishing school. With her is Joseph Coyne (27 March 1867 - 17 February 1941) who played an aviator. George Dance's Co. touring to the New Grand Theatre in Southampton on 30th March 1914
