Dante by Laurence Irving
Dante by Laurence Irving (11 April 1897 - 23 October 1988) from the French of Victorien Sardou and E. Moreau. First produced at the Drury Lane Theatre on 30th April 1903. Dante was played by Laurence Irving's father, Sir Henry (6 February 1838 - 13 October 1905), who is recognisable in this poster. See undated David Allen catalogue, no. 332 (16-sheet)
