Dick Turpin

Dick Turpin almost certainly a different version of the story. The central image shows Turpin, aghast, as Black Bess, who has carried him to York, is carried dead on a stretcher. Although Walter Scott and Son's Circus is advertised here, this would have been a stock poster available for any of the innumerable versions of the very popular story. The date is unknown
