Drury Lane Theatre, London
Drury Lane Theatre, London. Designed by English architect Benjamin Dean Wyatt (1775-1852) (son of James Wyatt), on behalf of the committee led by Whitbread. It opened on 10 October 1812 and still stands today. The billboard above the entrance is advertising Cinderella. It is believed that Cinderella's first ever performance in the UK was at Drury Lane in 1804 in the previous built theatre. A theatre has stood on this sight since 1663. There have been four theatres altogether
