East Lynne from Mrs Henry Wood's novel written in 1861

Miss Julie Kennard as "Lady Isobel" in East Lynne by Ellen Wood (nee Price, 17 January 1814 - 10 February 1887) who was an English novelist, better known in that respect as Mrs Henry Wood. The reverse has "So sorry I cannot call on you. Little Willie is so unwell, but I shall be at home any Evening this week between 7.30 and 10.30 p.m. Do come and see me. Yours very truly, Julie Kennard". Little Willie was Lady Isobel's son, who does not recognise her when she is thought to be dead and returns in disguise as his governess.
