Excuse Me adapted by Herbert C. Sargent from an American farce of the same title by Rupert Hughes, which was first performed in England at the Garrick Theatre on 6th March 1915. Harry Day advertised this revue, as one of several he was offering in the summer of 1915. A second edition was shown at the Kilburn Empire on 2nd August 1916
